Material Feed Control

A variable-speed rotary feeder provides precise control of the material feed rate into the mixer. A one-piece, abrasion-resistant sealing shoe rests on a precision-matched abrasion-resistant, closed-end rotor to provide volumetric flow control of ± 1%. This rotor/shoe combination automatically adjusts for wear, assuring a constant seal, and is self-compensating for temperature changes. Multiple inspection ports and adjustment bolts permit maintenance and inspection without disassembling the unit. The low speed, high torque variable speed drive permits direct operator control of material flow rate. Low rpm operation minimizes wear and assures maximum efficiency.
