Custom Designed Ash Handling Systems

AshTech combines proven mechanical ash handling components to create reliable cost efficient systems. Submerged chain conveyors, dry ash conveyors, ash storage and conditioning mixers are integrated to meet the requirements of individual combustion systems, air pollution control systems and solid fuel types.

Control Systems Design and Integration

The controls for the entire conveying system can be custom designed by AshTech to interlock and monitor conveyors, valve, feeders, mixers, and instrumentation. Logic and software are developed for integration into the main plant control system or, if required, a PLC based control panel can be designed to meet specific project requirements, including graphic display, automatic alarms, and data highway communication.

Manufacturing Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Product quality and conformance to project specifications is assured through a series of manufacturing in-process inspections and material certifications. Each conveyor is completely shop assembled, aligned, and run-tested to assure a trouble-free field installation and start-up.

Field Service, Training, Spare Parts

System start-up and operation are supported by trained AshTech field service engineers. On-site training is provided on a customized, as-needed basis. Spare parts support is simplified due to a high degree of commonality of parts among conveyors, and AshTech´┐Żs replacement parts inventory control and quick-delivery program.
